Giulia had been quietly unhappy with her smile for three decades. A childhood accident had left her with chipped anterior teeth which she had repaired with composite and crowns over the years. By the time she came to Navident, the crowns were discoloured, the margins were exposed, and she had a missing molar that needed bridging.
In Milan she received three quotes ranging from โฌ9,000 to โฌ11,000 for the work she needed โ a three-unit posterior bridge plus nine replacement crowns on the upper arch โ with appointment waiting times of two to three months per phase. She started looking abroad more out of curiosity than conviction.
What changed her mind about Navident was the first consultation. Digital scans replaced the putty impressions she dreaded. A panoramic image, occlusal records and a smile preview were all taken in a single afternoon. Every appointment was pre-mapped before she booked her flight: she knew exactly how many days she would spend in Tirana and what each visit would cover.
Giulia's rehabilitation took two trips: one of seven days for the preparation and temporary crowns, one of five days for the final delivery. The clinic's in-house lab fabricated all twelve zirconia units on-site, with shade matching done chairside in natural light. The final fitting was completed in a single afternoon.
Giulia paid less than half of the lowest Milan quote, with hotel and airport transfers included by Navident. The zirconia restorations match her natural shade and have the translucency of healthy enamel โ she has had two follow-ups in the year since and the soft tissue around the margins has stayed healthy.
"After thirty years of being unhappy with my smile," she said at her last visit, "I cannot stop looking in the mirror."
